MareCamp is an association composed by volunteer researcher marine biologists which aims to favor the conservation of endangered marine species and priority marine areas, especially cetacean populations of the Gulf of Catania (Ionian Sea, Sicily, Italy), by providing concrete scientific support that acts as a guide for sustainable management strategies, as well as, through environmental education courses and citizen science activities to support the development of a collective awareness based on the respect of the Sea.
